Dr. Jacqueline Enns

Dr Jacqueline Enns graduated from The Ontario Veterinary College with honours in 1995. Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Enns started working at the Morden Veterinary Clinic in Morden, Manitoba and has since become an owner. In 2005, Dr. Enns, together with her 3 partners, opened the Winkler Veterinary Clinic where she now spends her time practicing. It has been exciting watching the clinic grow from 1 vet at inception, to 3 in 2014. Dr. Enns has a special interest in small animal orthopedic surgery and reproduction.

Dr Enns has served on her provincial veterinary council (MVMA) as a councillor from 2012-2015, has been involved in the local equine 4H club as a head leader, and enjoys spending spare time with her horses. Dr. Enns and her husband Doug farm cattle and grain near Winkler together with their 3 children Ruth, Franklin, and Peter.

Dr. Julie Hamilton

Dr. Hamilton grew up in Morden and spent a large part of her childhood in the clinics as her father, Dr. David Hamilton, is a Veterinarian. She attended the University of Manitoba for two years of undergraduate studies and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. She may look like familiar face at the clinic as she spent her summers in the clinics as a veterinary student. Julie has an interest in preventative medicine, dentistry and small animal surgery, along with equine dentistry and medicine.

Julie shares her home with her husband Jeremy, dogs Clover and Maple, and her cats Mango and Chester. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, playing sports and camping.

Dr. Jenesa Banman

Dr. Jenesa Banman grew up near Winkler on a dairy farm. As a child she had a strong interest in animals and was inspired by the local vets, who later became her mentors.  She attended Brandon University for her undergraduate studies and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012.  Her primary focus has been small animal medicine, emergency medicine and dentistry.  She enjoys working together with pet owners to provide quality care for their furry friends and family.

Jenesa and her husband, Harvey, chose to move back to Winkler after she graduated because of strong ties to the community, their families, and friends. They have 2 young children, Bethany and William, who keep their spare time filled with giggles and play. In her free time Jenesa likes to unwind by playing piano, sewing or reading a novel.

Dr. Tara Frisch

Dr. Tara Frisch grew up on a grain farm near Manitou, MB where she always had horses, dogs, and cats. While volunteering at Pembina Valley Veterinary Clinic in high school, she discovered that veterinary medicine provided the perfect combination of her passions: animals, science, and agriculture. Tara completed her pre-veterinary studies in the Faculty of Science at the University of Manitoba and went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

Tara began her career at the Morden Veterinary Clinic as a mixed-animal practitioner, having special interests in equine practice, bovine practice, and small animal surgery.

In her spare time, Tara enjoys playing sports (softball, curling, volleyball), traveling, helping out on the family farm, and riding her horses, Bailey and Monty.

Dr. Oleh Plevinskvi

Dr. Oleh Plevinskyi (Oleg) was born in one of the oldest cities in Ukraine, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi (yes, it is as difficult to pronounce as to read!), where he worked as a veterinarian for more than 15 years. In 2004, he graduated with honors from Veterinary Faculty in Odesa State Agrarian University in Ukraine. After 3 years of the immigration process, he with his wife and six children eventually moved to Canada in 2019. Just after that, Oleg started the process to gain his license to work as a vet in Canada. In 2021, he was licensed to continue his lifelong passion to be a doctor for small animals.

He spends his spare time with his big family, enjoying nature, lakes, parks, and fishing. His children are learning how to play hockey and piano, and gradually the whole family is getting used to living in Canada.

Walli

Walli hails from the village of Schanzenfeld, MB. He graduated from the School of Hard Knocks when he was a tiny kitten, which led to a residency at our practice, and now an illustrious career. His specialties include patient warming, crate inspecting, door greeting, and insect control. He is a professional sleeper and eater. On holidays and weekends, he enjoys downtime with his girl Emiko. Though he goes by many names (Walter-Pants, Wallace, and Walli-Pop to name a few), he prefers to be known as The Boss.
