Our veterinary care team are trained in surgery as well, offering spay/neuter and many other soft-tissue surgeries.  Orthopedic procedures such as Femoral head and Neck Excision, Amputations can often be performed in our facility. Otherwise, we work together with specialists within our 5-clinics to offer more specialized orthopedic procedures such as Cranial Cruciate Ligament repair and various fracture repairs.

The Morden Veterinary Clinic is completely digital. All medical records are computerized which allows us to provide quick and efficient reference to past medical history as well as for transferring information if requested. We are now happy to offer full body and dental digital radiography which allows us to provide high quality imagining for better diagnostic potential, less retakes/artifacts which reduces radiation exposure, and is quick and efficient, resulting in faster diagnosis and shorter wait times. Annual health and wellness examinations are recommended for all pets. At this visit, we perform a thorough physical exam and discuss any concerns or questions that you may have. A life-stage evaluation is done to determine if any vaccinations or parasite prevention products are indicated.  Furthermore, we feel that nutrition is extremely important and will take the time to discuss appropriate dietary options for your pet.

Our veterinary team take pride in providing care for all our special pets. This is extended to various exotic species like pocket pets, rabbits, birds and reptiles. Dentistry

Horses have hypsodontic cheek teeth, meaning their premolars and molars continuously erupt throughout their life.  Since their domestication, horses have had challenges wearing their teeth in a normal pattern. Dental disease resulting in pain, malocclusions, infections and behavior issues is a common problem in horses.  Dentistry should be performed on a regular basis by a licensed veterinarian to prevent these problems from arising. Morden Veterinary Clinic offers oral exams using sedation and an oral speculum for the safety and comfort of your horse. We offer both power floating techniques for the treatment of dental imbalances. Our veterinarians address imbalances in both the molars and incisors for a completely balanced mouth.  Digital radiography of the skull is available for cases involving tooth roots or the sinuses; surgical referral is available when required.

Referral to university institutions for advanced imaging techniques including MRI, CT and nuclear scintigraphy is available as required.
